My Background
I was born in Borneo and raised in a family with deep knowledge of herbal medicine.
My grand uncle was a Chinese doctor who always treated us with herbal remedies when we were unwell. I was always amazed watching him practice his craft when I was young. He would place his fingers on the patient's wrist to take their pulse, and somehow he could tell exactly what was going on inside their body. He would then prescribe specific herbal medicines to be purchased at a Chinese pharmacy.
As I grew older, I pursued formal studies at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, California (1992), and later at the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing (1997).
There, I learned a variety of healing techniques, including Reflexology, Shiatsu, Touch for Health (muscle testing), Tui Na, Jin Shin Do, Acupressure, and Acupuncture.
Through academic study and years of hands-on experience, I’ve learned that the most effective way to heal the body is through a holistic approach, using multiple treatment methods.
We need holistic healing because the human body functions as a unified system—each part is interconnected with others. That’s why it's important to treat the body using a combination of techniques.
In my career, I’ve worked in and traveled to more than 16 countries, treating high-profile clients such as supermodel Cindy Crawford, contemporary painter Jasper Johns (known for the "American Flag"), world champion surfer Cheyne Horan, renowned British actress Naomi Harris (of James Bond: Skyfall, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, etc.), and Hollywood actor Scott Whyte (The Mighty Ducks, City Guys, That '70s Show, and more).
